To whom it may concern,
The Patterson Recreation Department is planning the 2023 Annual Patterson Farm to Fork Charity Dinner. A Farm to Fork Dinner takes local produce, prepared by local chefs, and provides a wonderful dinner to our community. The goal is to promote local sustainability within our small community and raise money for the Patterson Recreation Health, Wellness, and Fitness Fund.
The City of Patterson Recreation Department has partnered with the Stanislaus Community Foundation to establish the Patterson Recreation Health, Wellness, and Fitness Fund, an official 501c(3). Recreational programs have a massive impact on participants of all age demographics and have been proven to increase socialization, self-esteem, and overall quality of life in every participant. This fund provides recreational scholarships to Patterson’s less fortunate youth and seniors who may not be able to afford to participate in recreational programs due to monetary restraints. Each scholarship recipient may receive a maximum amount of $100.00 per year.
The 2022 Patterson Farm to Fork Dinner successfully raised approximately $20,000 for charity, enough to provide over two hundred additional scholarships, and celebrated local sustainability by producing a fantastic meal made from produce that was grown locally. This year we aim to continue increasing the number of scholarships we can provide by raising more dollars for the fund. All the profits will go directly to Patterson Recreation’s Scholarship Fund and support our youth.
The Patterson Farm to Fork will be held on September 9th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, at the Patterson Downtown Circle. We are currently in search of event sponsors for Farm to Fork 2023. Becoming an event sponsor will not only provide you with a tax deduction, but a chance to experience a one-of-a-kind event and provide twenty-five less fortunate youth with full recreational scholarships. We acknowledge your sponsorship through advertising and promotions of your logo in our event social media and print materials.
To this letter we have attached a flyer for the event as well as a flyer indicating the various levels of sponsorship available if you are interested in supporting a worthwhile cause.
Contact the Recreation Department with any questions/comments/concerns you may have.
Thank you.
