Two Women in a Sewing Class

Beginners & Intermediate Sewing

This sewing course will help you learn how to properly operate a sewing machine and choose appropriate fabrics and notions for class projects. You will learn how to read a pattern, pattern layout and cutting, and sewing seams! Class projects are worked on together in order to master sewing techniques.

Other Details:            Registration begins on December 45 and ends January 6.

                                    A minimum 5 students are required to run the class.

Quilting

Beginners & Intermediate Quilting

Have you ever wanted to learn to quilt? Now is your chance! This great quilting class with instructor Phyllis is offered through the Recreation Department! You will learn to choose appropriate fabrics and notions, read patterns and pattern layouts, and learn cutting and sewing simple seams.

Crafting Concepts

This class is designed to teach basic crafting concepts. Each week students will learn to create a variety of keepsakes, while developing their creativity, expanding their fine motor skills and gaining experience in the art of craft making. Craft making promotes development of self-expression and allowing the exploration of creative channels.Crafts include: Dream Catcher, Decorative Wreath, Dried Floral Arrangements, Home Made Body Scrubs & More!
